INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 sachet (125g) Gluten Free Custard Powder
  • 250ml water
  • 250ml milk (or your choice of milk substitute)
  • 2 Tbsp butter or margarine

METHOD:

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl with an electric mixer for 20 - 30 seconds on high speed
  • Allow to set.

TIPS: For a thicker or thinner consistency increase or reduce liquid. For warm custard heat up in the microwave or in a pot. 2 heaped tablespoons and 1 cup milk or water makes 1 cup of pouring custard. Add a dash of brandy for a perfect accompaniment to your Christmas pudding. Ideal for freezing
